Director & CEO Jodie Brenton Life Resolutions
Life Resolutions Director, Jodie Brenton has devoted over 15 years to the field of psychology and counselling in Australia. She founded Life Resolutions in 2001 with the aim of improving the accessibility of quality mental health services across the country. A longstanding and passionate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, this Life Resolutions CEO and Director’s goal has always been to support psychologists in the private practice industry, so that they may achieve the best mental health results for their clients.
Jodie, alongside the previous Life Resolutions director Mary Magalotti, rightly believed that private practice psychologists are too often dragged down with time-consuming and never-ending admin work. This hampers their efforts in helping their clients. Precious time is spent attending to paperwork when it could so easily be devoted to patients or clients who need their attention and mental health services. With the aim of finding a solution to this problem, Jodie Brenton founded Life Resolutions, creating enhancements in private practice systems, administration, and marketing operations. With many franchises and company-owned practices throughout Australia, the Life Resolutions psychology network makes it easier for more Australians to gain access to mental healthcare. Life Resolutions practices can be found in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Canberra.
Jodie Brenton’s Story
Jodie Brenton CEO at Life Resolutions, has vast knowledge in the fields of business and psychology. Her psychologists have high levels and areas of expertise in: psychological assessment, clinical psychology, counselling, stress management, psychotherapy, strategic business planning, and team building, just to name a few.
Jodie recognises that mental health does not receive the recognition it should, even in today’s society. The stigma around mental health means that it is not treated with the seriousness it deserves. People everywhere, no matter their stage in life, can experience mental stress and suffer from psychological disorders.
There are many who do not value their mental health and do not give mental health wellness the same importance as physical wellness. Jodie wanted to change the perception and stigma surrounding mental health and healthcare. The creation of Life Resolutions was a way for Jodie to combat these issues. The franchise was a way to ensure that all Australians, no matter their age or background, have access to proper and professional mental healthcare and counselling. Since its inception in 2001, Life Resolutions has attained overarching success in its endeavours. There is now an even greater client demand for the professional expertise offered by the mental healthcare industry, and Life Resolutions is set to embark on an even greater journey to expand further around Australia.
